Urbex Film: Buzludzha

A short timelapse and drone film of an iconic abandoned brutalist building in Bulgaria.

We arrive at the Buzludzha Monument in Bulgaria at dusk in thick fog, so thick we can hardly make out the building while standing underneath it at the entrance. We wander around to find a precarious access point and make our way inside. After navigating dark hallways we eventually find a large staircase.

Abandoned: Italy 2017 teaser

Just a short insight in to my recent trip to explore abandoned places in Italy. We even managed to find a couple of new spots while over there. As you probably know I am a photographer and the films come second, there will still be a few films made from this trip.

A quick tease of a recent trip to Italy. Finalising the edit and thought I would pop this up. Going to be a few films rom this trip I think. Shot with a Samsung NX500 and a Nikon d750 Music... Song: Rivero & Anna Yvette - Heaven [NCS Release] Music provided by NoCopyrightSounds.

Urbex Film Walkaround: Windlestone Hall AKA Tombstone Manor

A brief walk around of Windlestone Hall an abandoned mansion in the North East of England. Sadly it has taken a lot of damage from vandals and thieves, who have even taken parts of the roof creating a lot of damage inside.

Urbex: I had the pleasure of exploring this large abandoned mansion in County Durham, England. The birthplace of the Conservative Prime Minister Sir Anthony Eden, is now in a state of disrepair with smashed windows and paint splattered over the walls. It was up for sale at £850,000 and I believe bids have been made.

Thanks for watching let me know your views below.

Urbex Film: RAF West Raynham

A short film from the local RAF base. RAF Raynham has been abandoned for some time now. A huge site with a large number of buildings to see. Slowly the site is being renovated and some of the buildings are in use again.

So my filming went wrong so I ended up with brief hyperlapse clips instead. I never got enough timelapse clips to make a film so combined them together.

Thanks for looking. Let me know your thoughts on this short film below.

Timelapse Film: Industreeside

A short timelapse/ slow motion film of the heavy industry in the North East of England. Filmed around Teeside and the Seal Sands industrial site between Hartlepool and Middlesbrough.

Huge industrial sites here bellowing out steam, smoke and even fire at times. It was quite a pleasure making this film.

A short film of the heavy industry that can be found around Teeside and Seal Sands, which is set between Hartlepool and Middlesborough. Lots of steam and smoke at what I believe to be mainly chemical plants. Filmed with a Nikon D750, a Nikon D7000 and a Samsung nx500.

Abandoned film: Norfolk Light.

A short time lapse of some abandoned houses in Norfolk.

A time-lapse of a couple of abandoned houses in Norfolk. Sadly nothing left behind here but I feel they still work well with this video.

Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed. Let me know what your thoughts on this film below.

Vlog 1: An Evening To London. Pretty much just a time-lapse.

So I tried to make a vlog. It didn't quite go to plan and ended up failing at getting enough footage and recording my random waffle ended up a time-lapse as the camera settings were wrong. So basically here is a time-lapse of London. Quite a few clips from last year.

So I thought I would try and make a vlog. It didn't quite go to plan. Mostly ended up a timelapse with a few other bits. Sadly most of the footage is not from this trip as the filming was a bit of a fail.

Thanks for watching. Feel free to leave your views on my failed vlog attempt below.

Urbex Film: Abandoned The Greenhouse

An short film of an abandoned time capsule in Norfolk.

So I feel I really upped my game with this short film that I made recently. I learnt a lot making this film and I am really pleased with the final outcome. Hopefully you are too.

A timelapse of an abandoned house I explored in Norfolk, UK. A small derelict property I found a couple of years ago. I decided to go and have another look to do some filming. It didn't work out too well and returned the next day to try something different.

Thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed. Let me know your thoughts below. If you fancy seeing my original visit you can see the images here... Abandoned House Norfolk.

Urbex Film: Greys Car Graveyard

A nice car graveyard in Norfolk. Quite a number of cars left to rot here. A real shame as there are a couple of beauties left behind here.

Exploring a car graveyard found in the middle of rural Norfolk UK. Quite a few bits remain here including some vans.

Campaign: An Industrial Timelapse Film

So here is my first proper timelapse film. Based on the sugar beet campaign in East Anglia. Mostly shot at the Wissington site due to the access and views available, there are also scenes of Bury St Edmunds and Cantley. I used a wide focal range for this film maxing out at 500mm.

The sugar beet campaign only lasts around four months it starts around October and ends around January. This obviously varies due to weather and the harvest of the beet. I do love large industry and there isn't really much around East Anglia, so I had been eagerly awaiting the start of the campaign, to shoot some timelapse.

Urbex Film: An Abandoned Train Journey

A short film I made on a few abandoned train carriages in Norfolk. A mixture of time lapse or stop motion and video. These carriages are in fairly good condition and certainly bring back a few memories.

Abandoned: RAF Sculthorpe

A short film of the abandoned air base RAF Sculthorpe in Norfolk. A mixture of timelapse and video, shot over a few visits to the location. It was the first location I decided to shoot as its kind of local and quiet so I was able to take my time shooting here.
